LU-MES

Lucas Metzler (LU-MES), born in the Vinzentius Hospital, right on the FEST grounds, is a DJ/producer/promoter and full-blooded musician. As the son of "Karlsruhe rock 'n' roll veteran" and Rock Shop and FEST founder Rudi Metzler, music has been omnipresent since birth. Lucas decided to learn to DJ while still at school in 2012. Since then, his passion for music has led LUMES to play in almost every club in Karlsruhe (Gotec, Culteum, Synthicat, etc.) and events like the Majolika Afterwork, national heavyweights like Bootshaus (Cologne) and KitKat (Berlin), and international events like the New York Fashion Week Closing Party, the Swiss Influencer Awards in Zurich, and the Berlinale.

His sound is shaped by his diverse background – varied, with influences from various genres, yet always housey and, above all, danceable. Whether melodic, driving or with a groovy funk & indie influence.
