The Funky Valentines

The band led by singer and guitarist Axel Schmid is a classic guitar rock trio from Karlsruhe. The Funky Valentines perform their own German-language songs, as well as classics from rock history by artists such as Jimi Hendrix, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Police. They also play songs that you might not expect from this line-up, with Stefan Rupp on bass and Andy Schulz on drums, such as tracks by Depeche Mode, Rihanna and Post Malone. Axel Schmid's own songs are released under the pseudonym Maeander and are available on all popular platforms.
