Fat horn riffs, a brilliantly coordinated rhythm section, combined with warm-sounding vocals bring even well-known soul classics back to life with fresh arrangements. Fine grooves, crisp funk and soulful jazz are the qualities of Karlsruhe's most successful funk and soul band. Since 2008, it has been a constant guarantee of success in the jazz club's programme and also a crowd-puller ‘away from home’. Soulcafé is a small, fine, non-commercial funk & soul oasis. With a big smile and lots of groove, the band sends the audience off into the rest of the weekend after a great evening.
