His performances in Karlsruhe are legendary. He has been to the hill four times, most recently in 2022, with his band Seeed. In 2009, the year after the huge success of his solo album "Stadtaffe", Peter Fox marked another highlight. Never before had there been such a rush to the festival grounds as at his gig as a secret artist, which was only announced at short notice. Now the Berlin reggae, dancehall and hip-hop musician Peter Fox is returning. In 2023, he celebrated a furious comeback after almost 15 years with his second solo album "Love Songs". Peter Fox and his long-time companions, The Krauts, worked on the new album for almost exactly two years. While "Stadtaffe" followed a clear musical concept, "Love Songs" has a looser structure. His influences and references range from Afro-Drill and Amapiano to dancehall, Jersey Club, 70s electronica and punk rock. The guiding principle was the idea of a big backyard party: people come together in the open air, barbecue, dance, talk and share their best playlists. It will be a party with cool grooves and hot rhythms.
