FEST CUP celebrates its 20th anniversary / New FEST floor at the Europahalle
https://greifs.de/A touch of the Olympics can be felt at Sparda Sportpark. The games in Paris are just a TGV hop away from Karlsruhe and two sports that will also be attracting attention under the Eiffel Tower - BMX and skateboarding - will be competing at the FEST Cup on the ramp in the Sportpark. The start lists are still open, so perhaps one of the athletes competing in the Sportpark will also make their mark at the Olympics. Friday evening starts with the Best Trick Session, where the riders show off their most difficult maneuvers. Things get serious on Saturday with the BMX and skateboarding competitions, and Sunday is all about getting involved: anyone who has been inspired by the past few days can try it out for themselves in workshops run by Rollbrett e.V..
Numerous hands-on activities at the Sparda Sportpark
Try it out for yourself is the keyword for the Sparda Sportpark anyway: there is a varied program of contests and hands-on activities in the area next to the Europahalle. There is, for example, the WingTsun School Karlsruhe Marc Wolf, which invites you to train and exchange ideas together. The program is aimed at children from the age of 6, teenagers and adults. WingTsun not only trains defense skills and self-confidence, but also balance, flexibility, fitness and well-being. "Yoga is now" is the motto under which muktimind will be offering yoga for young and old from Thursday, perhaps providing a moment or two of peace and quiet in the hustle and bustle of DAS FEST. Resting will definitely not be possible in the Ninja Warrior Parcour. For the second time at DAS FEST, you can really let off steam on the course and try out the various obstacles. On July 20, there will be a small competition in which the aim is to get through the course as quickly as possible. The footballers from the Badener Greifs will be demonstrating some of their repertoire at their action stand and will also be playing flag football. The Red Flames cheerleaders will also be there, showing off the stunts from their shows. The Golden Paws cheerleaders also invite you to join in.
FEST-Floor celebrates its premiere
The FEST-Floor, which will be located between the Europahalle and Europabad, will celebrate its premiere this year. The beats will be booming there from Friday, July 19 to Sunday, July 21. For the first time, two Karlsruhe clubs, Stadtmitte and Fettschmelze, will be involved, each contributing an act on Friday and Saturday. In addition, when the lights go out in the Günther-Klotz-Anlage in the evening and the music stops, the afterparty for the party people continues there. The FEST floor will also send out a strong signal of support for Ukraine: On Sunday evening, Ukrainian DJ Anna Aloka will be spinning.
