The American singer-songwriter is an imposing figure; he possesses a charismatic stage presence and an unmistakable, powerful voice, and has amassed a string of hits worldwide. In Germany alone, Ray Dalton has amassed four gold and two platinum albums. Born in Seattle, he began singing at the age of six and joined the acclaimed Total Experience Gospel Choir, with whom he performed worldwide and before figures such as Barack Obama and the Dalai Lama. Influenced by gospel and artists like Amy Winehouse, Dalton pours all his emotions into every performance. He achieved his international breakthrough in 2013 with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Grammy-nominated number-one hit “Can’t Hold Us,” followed by the triple-gold-certified collaboration “Don’t Worry” with Madcon. Further global successes followed with “Manila” featuring Alvaro Soler, the multi-platinum “In My Bones,” and the 2022 hit “Call It Love” featuring Felix Jaehn, which charted internationally and received gold and platinum certifications in numerous countries. In 2024, Dalton released his debut album “Thee Unknown,” his most personal and artistic work to date, and in 2025, he completed his first European tour as a headliner, thrilling audiences across generations with his fusion of soul and pop and his soulful, high-energy live shows.
