Stockholm-based British-Nigerian spoken word artist and musician Joshua Idehen turns his shows into parties. Parties that inspire reflection while simultaneously letting you dance your thoughts away. "Power To The People," this powerful message from Patti Smith, also seems to be the driving force behind Joshua Idehen, whose lyrics are more poetry than conventional songwriting. His explosive creativity and moving voice have made him a fixture on the British jazz scene; he has performed with the experimental group The Comet Is Coming as well as Sons Of Kemet, among others. His exuberant live performances bring clubs and festival stages around the world to a boil. Together with producer, instrumentalist, and DJ Ludvig Parment, Joshua blends poetry with modern club sounds in a natural, free-flowing way. In Parment, from Sweden, Joshua Idehen has found the perfect musical partner. Their tours as a duo have taken them all over Europe as both a support act and a headliner.
