Having grown up between Cologne and Bonn, the musician in his early 20s moved to Berlin after his first success with the song “Verliebt,” where he plans to advance his career. The foundation for Ivo’s music had already been laid by his father, who instilled in his son a love for the Beatles and Queen. As for many others of his generation, TikTok became a springboard for the talented young musician. He began filming himself sitting next to people on park benches, asking them for keywords, and then improvising songs that could have been written by a team of songwriters. In 2024, Ivo Martin released his debut album “Puls,” which entered the German album charts and led to a largely sold-out tour.
