Despite millions of clicks, tens of thousands of followers on social media, a loyal fan base, sold-out tours, appearances at major festivals and consistent releases, GReeeN is still considered an insider tip in the German rap scene. Musically, the musician from Mannheim pursues his own vision and combines the best of reggae and rap, which can loosely be described as rappae. In witty lyrics, he raps about life, love or sings an ode to nature and to plants that can now be legally grown and smoked in Germany, even if he recognizes and names both the curse and the blessing. GReeeN is his very own character. He stands up for things like environmental protection and pursues the goal of making the world a little better.
