Blood Red Shoes

Blood Red Shoes is a British alternative rock duo consisting of Laura-Mary Carter and Steven Ansell. Formed in the DIY punk scene in 2004, they have spent two decades touring the world and building a reputation for loud and energetic live shows. They have released more than half a dozen studio albums, all of which contain hidden Twin Peaks references. Blood Red Shoes believe that rock ’n’ roll will never die out, but it’s getting old and weird. Somewhere between punk and grunge, they’ve built their own little universe and like to call themselves a rock band because it means practically nothing and because they find it funny, but not least because the two of them are, in fact, definitely nothing less than a rock band.
