Beatsteaks

Over the years, five friends from Berlin have grown from a small punk sensation into one of Germany’s biggest rock bands with their band. After countless tours at home and abroad, performances at Europe’s biggest festivals, and several gold albums, the Beatsteaks are now one of the most popular and successful rock bands in the country. Their big breakthrough came in 2004 with “Smacksmash,” the Beatsteaks’ fourth album. Since then, the Berliners have steadily built on their success. But the Beatsteaks wouldn’t be the Beatsteaks if they were to rest on their laurels. They constantly set themselves new challenges. Time and again, they have proven their special talent for pulling together and overcoming obstacles as a team. Most recently in 2024, when they returned with “Please,” their first new studio album in seven years. “Please” is proof of a perfectly functioning five-way relationship that has lasted nearly thirty years. Peter, Bernd, Torsten, Arnim, and Thomas aren’t done yet; un ly from most bands in the history of guitar rock, they’ve stuck it out and possibly put together the best ninth album of all time.
