A Passion for Dance at FEST — powered by World Games 2029
FEST-FloorThursday, 23.07.16:30
You can hear music everywhere at FEST—here, you can dance to it. On Thursday, July 23, the FEST Floor will be the place to be for anyone who likes to move or just wants to try something new. Whether you dance regularly or have never taken a step in a partner dance before: Come by, watch, or just join in. Throughout the evening, short dance lessons will introduce participants to the basics of salsa, bachata, and kizomba, as well as a brief course on Afrobeats. No registration required, no prior experience needed, and no pressure to perform. After that, the dance floor belongs to everyone: The music keeps playing, people dance, laugh, try things out, and maybe even discover their first new favorite dance. Everyone can join in. Everyone is welcome to watch. The main thing is that the music doesn’t just stay in your ears—it gets into your legs, too.
Schedule:
4:30 p.m. Afrobeat, 5:00 p.m. Bachata, 5:45 p.m. Salsa, 6:30 p.m. Kizomba, 7:15 p.m. Bachata, 8:00 p.m. Salsa, 8:30 p.m. Open dancing
