Me and the Heat

They don’t just bring a sense of rhythm to the stage; they set off a fireworks display of sound, charm and international flair. Me and the Heat have been a household name in Karlsruhe and the surrounding region for years – not least thanks to their numerous appearances at the Hoepfner Burgfest. For more than 30 years, Me and the Heat have stood for first-class live entertainment, musical diversity and an energetic show. With a repertoire ranging from pop, rock, soul, funk and hip-hop to the greatest party classics, the band thrills audiences across all generations. The band’s guests also provide special musical moments: Adrian from Trinidad and Tobago brings Caribbean flair straight to Karlsruhe. His steel drum sounds give Me and the Heat a special touch and create a real summer vibe. Also joining them is singer, entertainer and trumpeter Marvin Dallaway, who is currently appearing in the wildcard series of the hit show “7 vs. Wild”. In addition, rapper Crazy adds creative and surprising touches. The link between the two concerts is provided by band leader Mike Frank, who shapes the musical style of both the Frank Family and Me and the Heat. He bridges the gap from a relaxed sunset atmosphere to a summer night-time party.
