Since January 2020, drummer Fabian Jakob and guitarist and singer Alex Rau have been performing as a two-man band, exploring the realms of pop, rock and alternative music. Wherever the Pforzheim-based duo turn up, the atmosphere is always lively, as they have the perfect music for everyone and every occasion in their repertoire. Just in Case aren’t just cover artists; they’re also increasingly performing their own original songs. The duo’s biggest success to date was probably winning first place at the Goldene Gitarre 2025, the New Wave music contest. Here, the band took first place in the ‘original songs’ category. The gig that means the most to the two lads took place in Munich, when they were booked by the American football team the Seattle Seahawks to provide the entertainment at the pre-match party at the Augustiner Stammhaus.
