Die Jacksons

Formed in 2002 around singers Tunc Süzer and Tony Moutafidis, the band was once one of the leading acts on the Karlsruhe cover band scene. Back then, the band made a name for itself particularly at the cult pub “Brasil”. There, they regularly filled the venue and kept the party going late into the night with an energetic mix of pop and rock classics. The Jacksons’ repertoire spans several decades of pop and rock history: songs by The Police, George Michael, Bill Withers and many other artists from the 70s, 80s and 90s feature in their set. The band is best known for their powerful live sound and their spontaneous enthusiasm. Their performance at the “Fest am See” promises not only a reunion with a Karlsruhe band, but also a musical journey through several decades of pop and rock history. ‘Captivating arrangements, daring vocal manoeuvres and pulsating, throbbing rhythms find their way into the ears and bones of the Baden audience,’ says the seven-piece band, whose members are among the most active musicians on the regional scene.
