Sustainability: DAS FEST Karlsruhe is nominated for two awards
Among the finalists in the Greener Power and Greener Transport categories / Sustainability at DAS FEST is independently certified
DAS FEST Karlsruhe has been nominated by A Greener Future (AGF) for the Greener Power and Greener Transport Awards, AGF has announced. The Karlsruhe family festival had applied for certification of its sustainability by A Greener Future, a non-profit organization that carries out independent assessments of events, festivals and venues, and received this certification, as it has done continuously since 2014. The DAS FEST organizers can now also hope to receive the Greener Power Award and Greener Transport Award.
A total of 27 events, venues and innovators from twelve countries have been announced as finalists for the International AGF Awards 2024. The awards will be presented in nine key sustainability categories, including energy, water, food and travel, and the top award is the International Greener Festival Award 2024. The awards ceremony will take place on February 27 during the Green Events & Innovations Conference at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
The AGF is a non-profit organization and founder of the world's first sustainability standards for festivals and events. The AGF is committed to making events, festivals and venues around the world more environmentally friendly. Among other things, it provides an independent assessment and verification of the sustainability claims of events and venues through the AGF certification for festivals, venues, tours and events.
