DAS FEST AM SEE kicks off the festival summer at Mount Klotz from 15 July

Even before tens of thousands of visitors gather once again at Mount Klotz to celebrate DAS FEST Karlsruhe, the festival summer gets underway a week earlier at the Günther-Klotz-Anlage. From 15 to 21 July, DAS FEST AM SEE invites you to the rowing lake, once again transforming the Günther-Klotz-Anlage into a free venue for music, socialising and relaxed summer evenings.

Together with DAS FEST at the Schlachthof and the four days of DAS FEST Karlsruhe (23 to 26 July), this adds up to a total of twelve days packed with culture, music and community spirit. Once again this year, DAS FEST will become a huge open-air festival city.

DAS FEST AM SEE embodies the values that have characterised DAS FEST for decades: culture for everyone without barriers to entry, regional diversity and a program that appeals to all generations. Families, groups of friends and music fans can look forward to a varied program that brings people of all ages together. Over six evenings and a musical Sunday, visitors can look forward to a diverse program featuring singer-songwriter sounds, folk-punk, rock, soul and funk. The line-up is complemented by big-band sounds, Balkan beats and summery party music. Once again, there is a special focus on the regional music scene: many of the performing artists come from Karlsruhe and the surrounding area. DAS FEST AM SEE offers them a stage whilst also bringing the region’s vast musical diversity to life.

With free entry, a unique atmosphere by the water and a colourful music program, DAS FEST AM SEE is the ideal start to a long festival summer in Karlsruhe.
