- OUR HILL
The city emergency management of the Red Cross (DRK-Stadtbereitschaft) will be pleased to help you at any time. It is located in an easily accessible spot near the beach volleyball court (please see the site map). You can reach the local emergency units either under the telephone number +49 (0) 721 81989734 or 112.
FACING THREATS OR TROUBLE
Please refer to our security personnel on site or to our SOS-stations. They are marked with yellow flags to the right of the main stage and on the hill with a big yellow icon (please see right). You may also refer to the personnel of DAS FEST at our beverage distribution stands.
BEHAVIOUR IN CASE OF A FIGHT
Have moral courage. Talk to the other visitor and try to settle the dispute peacefully with him or her without recurring to violence. Should the situation escalate, please report it to our security personnel or employees at the nearest DAS FEST beverage distribution stand.
Please try to remain calm in such situations. The emergency exits are to the left and right of the main stage and lead you down to the Alb River or along the Karl-Wolf-Weg pathway and Wilhelm-Baur-Strasse (please see the site map). Furthermore please note our safety animation on our video-screens and please note the hints of our security staff.
Please report the case immediately to our security personnel or employees at the nearest DAS FEST beverage distribution stands. They will in turn contact the security center.
Every child gone missing has been found safe and sound. The first thing to in such a case is go to the city emergency management of the Red Cross next to the beach volleyball court (please see the pictogram on the site map), because that is where lost boys and girls are usually delivered and tended to until their parents arrive. Should your child not be there (yet), the Red Cross will inform the festival promoter.
You will be kept constantly up to date on the upcoming weather conditions by our hosts. Should a storm break out, please stay calm. Danger zones are wherever things may be torn off, i.e. in the proximity of tents, stages, and storage facilities. Even cables can be a potential source of danger. Please go to the emergency exits along the Alb River or the Wilhelm-Baur-Weg pathway (see the site map). There are only very few places to shelter from rain. But don’t worry, the summer rain can sometimes be quite refreshing and pass by pretty fast. Please do not seek shelter in our beverage distribution stands, because you would be endangering our employees and other visitors. If you came by car, you may seek shelter there if need be. Please follow the instructions of our employees without fail.
COURTESY / HOUSEHOLDER’S RIGHTS / DECISIONAL AUTHORITY
In order to make the festival attendance an enjoyable experience and a lasting beautiful memory, we ask you please to be tolerant, courteous, morally courageous, and to lend a helping hand in case of an emergency. Everyone should help, because the safety and security of the festival visitors has absolute priority. And this is why the householder’s rights are with the promoter and his representatives during the entire event. The instructions of the security personnel must be observed without fail.
RISK OF OVERCROWDING
In the case of risk of overcrowding at the festival, our security staff will close the relevant entries. This can cause longer waiting times.
Although there were no serious accidents on our hill in the past 30 years, we ask you to please pay attention to its special features (inclination of the hill —> risk of slipping and tripping).
